the nissan aero summer program provides you a unique opportunity to build relationships with other aspiring engineers, connect with industry professionals, and get a jump start on your future, all while building the necessary engineering and math skills in a fast, fun, hands-on approach.
what: this is a one-week intensive program which will include taking the math placement test on saturday morning. the math placement test can only be taken one time. please do not take it if you plan to attend aero.

- lunch will be provided where you will interact with speakers and industry professionals.
- you will participate in a hands-on activity where you will apply your math skills to solving an engineering problem alongside university professors and engineering students.
- connect with nissan automotive employees (and tour their manufacturing facility) to see what transformative engineering looks like from start to finish.

’s campus in the fields engineering building’s classrooms and labs. you will also participate in a local industry site visit.
who: we invite any anyone entering an engineering or computing 4-year degree program to apply. preference will be given to applicants who are current middle tennessee public high school seniors, transfers, veterans and with an act math score between 21-25.
